Jamf Pro Sync History
Learn how to view and manage Jamf Pro sync history in AssetLoom, including sync status, activity details, and troubleshooting information.
The Sync History tab keeps a record of previous Jamf Pro sync runs and their results. Use it to check when a sync ran, how it was triggered, how many devices were processed, and whether any errors occurred.
To access it, open the Jamf Pro Integration Details page and navigate to the Sync History tab.

Sync History Overview
At the top of the page, the summary cards give you a quick view of your recorded sync runs:

- Total Runs: Total number of sync runs recorded.
- Succeeded: Runs that completed successfully.
- Warnings: Runs that completed but included issues that may need review.
- Failed: Runs that could not complete successfully.
You can also filter the history by how the sync was triggered:

- All: Shows all sync runs.
- Manual: Shows syncs started manually using Sync Now.
- Scheduled: Shows syncs started automatically based on the configured sync schedule.
- Webhook: Shows syncs triggered by events received through Jamf Pro webhooks.
Each sync run displays:
- Trigger: How the sync was started.
- Started: When the sync began.
- Duration: How long the sync took.
- Devices Found: Number of Jamf Pro devices found during the run.
- Created: Number of new AssetLoom assets created.
- Updated: Number of existing assets updated.
- Errors: Number of errors encountered during the sync.
- Status: Overall result of the sync, such as Success or Failed.
Review a Sync
Click a sync run to expand it and review what happened during that sync, including the run summary and trigger type. You can also review the result for each device processed during the run.

The run summary breaks the results down into:

- Found: Devices returned from Jamf Pro.
- Created: Devices created as new assets in AssetLoom.
- Updated: Existing AssetLoom assets updated during the sync.
- Conflicts: Devices where synced data could not be applied as expected because of a conflict.
- Errors: Devices that encountered an error during processing.
- Skipped: Devices that were not processed.
Use the filters to show only the device results you want to review, or use the search box to find a specific device.
Review a Device Sync Result
Click a device within an expanded sync run to review what happened to that device during the sync.

Depending on the result, you can see information such as:
- Whether the asset was created or updated.
- The asset information applied during the sync.
- Whether checkout and assignment were completed or skipped.
- Any conflict, warning, or error related to the device.
When an AssetLoom asset was created or matched, click View asset to open its asset record.
