Departments

Learn how to manage departments as one type of reference data

1. What Are Departments

Departments are one type of reference data used to organize resources (Assets, Accessories, Licenses, Components and Consumables) based on your company’s internal structure. In AssetLoom, Departments help you manage asset ownership, assignment, tracking, and reporting according to each team or business unit.

Departments

The Department is located under the Reference Data section on the Personal Settings page. This page displays information about all your departments in the system and serves as the central place for managing them.
